Well, it's safe to say he didn't get a role at all... I know Cornish wanted to do this on his own and carve his own corner of the world, but C'MON man ... Adam would hardly have ruined the movie, HE CAN ACT !

I hope Dr. Buckles doesn't hold this against him in the future...

To be fair, the other viewers may have been as keen as you to know the reply, hence reading it, but not been able to add anything. I only caught it from a couple of stray tweets because I'm a crazed idiothole. If you read the piece in this month's Empire you will see what I was alluding to. I just don't want to put a spoiler on here....

I've just read the Empire diary piece. Very interesting. I'd say there's deffo no animosity caused by the film - and there was indeed a few crisp white fivers going Adams way.

I saw the trailer on the big screen the other day and it seemed to get a really good reaction from my fellow movie-goers. Roll on May 13th!

[spoiler]In a way I'm glad Adam's not actually in the film (face-wise). It would totally turn into "The Adam and Joe Movie" as far as the press would be concerned. Imagine if he'd been given say the Nick Frost role for example. It would detract from the film itself I reckon. Seems like this is the right compromise. Buxton fans get a thrill from hearing him in the film, and the rest of the film-goers can just enjoy the movie, without necessarily knowing or caring who A&J are.[/spoiler]
