I tried to get into twitter, but I just found it annoying. I was only really subscribed to Brooker and Lineham, and Lineham twittered all the flipping time, I got sick of it.

Twitter only really makes sense once you're following a lot of people, and people are following you

Otherwise there's no point to it...

I can easily see why new people don't get it and become Twitter Quitters


I think Adam should have persevered as Twitter would be a much better way for the show to interact with its audience (rather than text or email)

Also Adam didn't do a very good job of deleting his initial misguided Tweets (most of them were still available to view), so in a way I'm glad he removed the account

They should grab the name @adamandjoe (the person who owns that Twitter account offered it up) -- and use it for the show. That way they can share the account betweem Adam, Joe and their 6music producers etc .. so the pressure doesn't have to be on one person. Adam got up to 10,000 followers in a very short time, so I can see why he got 'Twitter Anxiety' as he put it

They are linking to the old blogpost in their Twitter profile
