Public Booking for the May sessions of BUG go on sale at 11:30am on 13th April 2010.
They are both at 8:45pm on the nights of Thursday 20th & 27th of May 2010. The latter is the “Director’s Cut” which is slightly shorter because it doesn’t have a guest director. More time in the bar with that one!
Now firmly established as one of London’s best nights out. Join us for a tantalising blend of brilliant music video, expert comment and off-the-cuff hilarity courtesy of host extraordinaire Adam Buxton. A positive smorgasboard of miniature cinematic gems from some of the most talented emerging directors will be on show, and the fun doesn’t stop there, as our resident BUG DJs will be providing aural stimulation in the Benugo lounge till late.

A BUG Special dedicated to UNKLE has also been organised for Friday 7th May 2010.
More details are available on the BFI website, or see below:
With James Lavelle a central figure in an ever-evolving line up, UNKLE have become a uniquely influential and innovative creative force. Working consistently with outstanding directors and visual artists, the group have produced a body of work that includes some of the most powerful combinations of music and moving image of the last two decades. BUG is therefore delighted to mark the brand new UNKLE album, Where Did the Night Fall?, with a big-screen retrospect on the band’s output in moving image – including the astonishing video for Eye for an Eye, by animators Shynola – who started their careers working with Lavelle – and Jonathan Glazer’s video for Rabbit in Your Headlights, alongside such more recent works as the highly-rated Heaven by Spike Jonze and Ty Evans, and Miguel Sapochnik’s Burn My Shadow. Inimitable BUG host Adam Buxton will present a special programme of UNKLE videos, tour visuals and rarities, and will be joined on stage by special guests, including James Lavelle. Following the show, BFI Southbank’s regular AV club event, Dark Fibre, will be headlined by a DJ set from UNKLE, plus a special line-up of audiovisualists playing late in the foyer and Benugo bar.
