Where'd you get the photo? I saw this van on my street a few weeks ago. I only remembered it because at the time I thought it was the lamest Mario and Luigi knock-off logo they could get away with without getting sued by nintendo! It's definitely a Dublin phone number on the side there.

edit: Sorry just noticed your line under the photo. "South Dublin" confirmed! I knew my eyes didn't deceive me. Nice to know there's another Dub on this site anyway.

I walked past this van almost every morning for months, onthinice, on my way to college in Sallynoggin; the guy that owned it obviously lived there. It was a reassuring sight for my bleary eyes, and always made me smile, particularly when I happened to be listening to one of the podcasts at the same time. Sort of like a momentary, inappropriate illustration of A+J's chatter. Alas, I finished my course and have since moved back home to Galway, but I hold out hope of seeing it again some day. Although, I'm sure there are similar business mascots/illustrations out there, given the prevalence of short and broad/tall and thin partenerships; keep yer eyes peeled, maybe we could build up a collection of ridiculous A+J-alikes...

Right, Sallynoggin makes sense alright. I'm close enough to that general area so it's no surprise that the van had been on my road. A mate of mine did the portfolio course in the noggin college there a few years back actually.
