namesinspace: My hard drive is way beyond software to fix it. I've tried it in different cases/power supplies and all sorts. It's something that needs professional attention. Help sought!

About your hard drive.... It's an external one I presume is it? Do you even hear it spin-up when you try to turn it on? Or is it just getting no power to it at all?
Did you hear about the "freezer" trick? I'm not sure how risky it is though.

I got a version of Audacity and tried to edit the music out but my comp just crashed every time Audacity started. My laptop is a heap of shit though so that was to be expected.

Anyway thanks again for your edit; downloading now. If only we could get the rest of those missing shows off Benjamin too! But I fear it's been so long now since we've heard anything that it will never happen.

Just wondering about this broken Harddrive, what exactly is the issue with it? Is it a physical issue like not receiving power or a data issue like corrupted files? Can we get some more info as it may be fixable.
