That still looks great, and an April release date (if it's true) means we don't have long to wait. I wonder when we'll get a trailer, and I also wonder how widely released this film will be. I guess that stuff is getting sorted out now.

I like the look of the kids in the still, especially their expressions, and the one kid with glasses. The lighting is cool as well. Reminds me of The Exorcist.

Joe did a phone interview on the Edgar Wright, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg show on 6 Music on New Year's Morning (still on the iplayer of course) and said he thinks 8th April will be the release date. Joe's bit starts at 01:46.

The FDA has been showing that since October. Fingers crossed. These things can change for a variety of reasons & we know he had a few pick-up shots to do after the test screening(s) but here's hoping.

'the carcass of a dead alien' .....my hopes that they won't reveal the actual fleshy version until it goes into the cinemas is futile, isn't it? I'm presuming Joe will have been tempted to go down the Sasquatch route....I lasted an entire four days without looking at the lastest picture.....and then I only looked because I thought it was a bigger version the one they printed a few months ago. I think I shall hibernate until April. I've certainly eaten enough, this Christmas, to sustain me.

It's only one picture but it's over a double page so it's not so practical to put on-line. It seems to show the same kids that are in the other picture.

Heard some of Basement Jaxx's score for Joe Cornish's Attack The Block yesterday. Still humming it today. #GoodStuff

.......so if they're scoring and mixing, the picture may well be pretty much locked down. That's not to say all the SFX are finished but maybe, just maybe the intensive work period could come to an end in the next few weeks.
