I'm very happy Adam and Joe are continuing the Made-up Joke segment. I really enjoy hearing people's tenuous jokes, so, please post here?

This is a joke that I made up, but I don't think it's bad enough for the radio segment.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
(Wait for terrible response, probably flying, which is not a power really in my book but an added bonus)
Interesting. If I could have any superpower, it'd probably be China.

(I also tried a conventional format with "If Rupert Murdoch could have any superpower, what would it be?" but realised Rupert Murdoch might not be the best example)

One day the only thing I drank for that entire day was water. I went to a restaurant that night and ordered a water and my friend said, "still?" and I said "no, sparkling."

created that one the other day after my dad asked my sister if she wanted water and then quickly turned round and asked "still?"

or alternatively:

i was out with friends the other day and we were ordering drinks, my friend asked me what i wanted and i said "water" so he said "still?", i said "no i changed my mind, i'll have a coke"

I think I'll be lifting the latter form for use tomorrow!

Britney Spears comes on and says 'Tonight Matthew I'm going to be Chopin'

Tom Hanks comes on and says 'Tonight Matthew I'm going to be Beethoven'

Then Arnie Swarzenegger come on and says 'I'll be Bach'
