In case you don't know, Last.fm is the best website on the internet if you're an anal music lover.

Post your last.fm account in this topic!

Here's mine:

Also, show your appreciation of A&J by joining this group (there's only 58 members at the moment):

Medium compatibility, sadly. I'm not down with the young people's music anymore.

Captain Beefheart? Joanna Newsom? Tom Waits? The Residents? Talking Heads? That's good enough for me, man :) Your tastes are more up to date than mine.

I've never really used LastFM. Seen it a lot about the internetz but never tried it. I just use itunes a lot. Maybe I should try using it. Someone sell it to me and give me some info. =D

I don't actually find it much use for discovering music the way it's intended to work (ie by listening to "similar artists" radio) but you can hook up with other people who listen to similar stuff, see what else they listen to, sample it, and see if you like it. I've discovered a lot of new music as a result of finding people with genuinely similar tastes to me and seeing what else they listen to.

Also, if you're anal about tracking what you listen to, it's an absolute godsend.

I don't use last.fm. How about a communal spotify playlist though? Anyone else use that?

Here's the link for the communal playlist. Add all you want, but only music you love:
