Does anyone have any good examples of phpbb forums that they use that have a nice design? I'm looking to create a new mobile-friendly/responsive design so it will look better on tablets/phones/small screen sizes
Does anyone use the Tapatalk plugin? I think I installed that a while back but would be interested to hear if anyone is using it
Here are a good list I found whilst Googling responsive phpbb theme:

I think I registered for the TapTalk but I don't use it, I'm afraid.
From that list you linked, I prefer the cleaner ones like Clear Colours, Metro and Bboots

thanks
I wouldn't be using those exact ones it was more of the responsive idea I'm looking at (ie. if you visit the demo URLs below and then resize your browser, and compare it to how our own forum reacts)

I went ahead and purchased Metro from ThemeForest for $15
I'm going to use it as a base to create the new theme from
Lots of the forum will probably be currently broken as a result
The BBCODES that embed YouTube videos etc still seem to work -- although the videos do no fit when the browser is resized, so that is something I will work on
Also I will probably increase the size of the font slightly
The top header stuff will change
Let me know what else you think I should change or if you have any ideas

it's currently a mess as I try to get my head around how to change the font sizes etc in the stylesheet. Proving a lot harder than I thought to clear the cache :/

hmm.. ok, I've spent several hours tweaking the theme a bit. Still lots of work to do, but I think in its current state it is now usuable
