yeah this whole thing is very interesting. Does anyone have any info as to what it's all about? Is Adam going to be in the IT crowd again or something?

It's too soon to be the next series of the IT Crowd but it did cross my mind that they might be a) rushing a Christmas show out (unlikely at this stage) or b) doing an on-line special (more the province of BBC rather than C4.
It might be a pilot....I hope someone who emailed will get a response & let us know more.
It could even be a Song Wars promo vid!!!!

Does anyone have a nice big picture of Ken Korda I can use for the frontpage blog post? Maybe a DVD screengrab? approx 620 or 640 pixel width

My review of the day

(apologies if I forget anything important, it was a very long day)

Woke up very early in the morning, packed my lunch for the day and other bits and bobs, then put on my hipster attire.

off to london on the train! (very packed, expensive ticket for the time of day)

Arrived at Sound nightclub in Leicester Square at 10am, nothing seemed to indicate that things were happening inside, said to the man outside "i'm here for 'Outside the Box?".... "5th floor" he said. I got the lift and walked into a cafeteria and saw about 20 other 'hipsters' already happily chatting then I saw Adam and Graham chatting in the corner so decided to say hi and introduce myself. They were both lovely and thanked me for coming and dressing up "like a ponce" :D , I then walked over to the other extras and had a nice chat prior to filming.

Half an hour later the director (Dougal Wilson) came up and picked a few people for the first scene, I was lucky enough to be one of them (hooray), we went down a floor to the set which was the top floor of a night club. My job was to lean on the railings with a pretend drink and "mime having a pretentious conversation", the director was very funny in fact and was absolutely great. The opening scene was Ken Korda (Adam Buxton obviously...) walking down the entrance to the club past a few of us (told to get in his way, very funny) and basically introducing the show in typical disastrous Korda fashion.

Dont really want to spoil anything so i wont mention any of the dialogue etc but it was very, very funny and interesting to hear Adam and Graham bouncing possible improvised lines off of each other, they seem to work great together.

I'm not going to spoil their part in the process but some of the people involved were Bridget Christie, Laura Solon, Colin Hoult and Emmy the Great.

It was really hard to keep a straight face in some scenes, particularly ones that seemed to change every time to make it more spontaneous. Adam corpsed a fair bit and was an absolute joy.

It was a shoot that lasted (with breaks) from 10 am til 7:15 pm, a very long day but a great experience.

Adam personally thanked us at the end by suggesting that if we popped down our email adresses he would get us into a BUG show for free , they all seemed to genuinely appreciate us being there which was cool. I said thanks to Adam, Graham and Dougal for letting me be a part of it and then ran to go see 'the horne section' in islington (which was great) super day :-)

sorry if this is grammatically poor and very light on information.

oh and i took one crappy picture on my phone of Graham looking at the moniters in one of the later scenes (apologies for not taking more, seemed a bit rude at the time) http://yfrog.com/h4e9uaj
