You're bored, it's Sunday 6:15
There's nothing else on the T.V.

Check it out now it's the Antiques Roadshow,
Looking at old stuff seeing if it's worth dough.

Fiona Bruce hosts the event,
Which comes this week from Stoke-on-Trent.

Ch-ch check it out now it's the Antiques Roadshow,
Looking at old stuff seeing if it's worth dough.

Where did you find this delightful clock?
What a marvellously unusual jewellery box,
What a stunning litograph of the Albert Docks,
What a beautiful painting of hollyhocks.

I just adore this chest of drawers of yours it's from the civil war.

Ch-ch check it out now it's the Antiques Roadshow,
Looking at old stuff seing if it's worth dough.

The sun is bright,
The crowd's polite,
And mostly white,
But that's alright.

Ch-ch check it out now it's the Antiques Roadshow,
Looking at old stuff seeing if it's worth dough.
What's on the other side? that's Brittania High,
Boy that shows dull back to channel one.

Here's a farmer with a suit armour,
A boy from Ghana with a stuffed llama????
Those cufflinks in the expert's hand,
Cost tem bob but they're worth thrity grand!

Come bring your stuff to the BBC,
We'll evaluate your antiques for free,
You might even get to be on T.V.....

...but I believe (perhaps naively ?) that it was made FOR the blog and in typical BBC tradition, the 6Music YouTube channel didn't co-ordinate with the blog - which.....by the way is also victim to the silly time-slot submission system so even if James is hot to trot with info they have this clunky slotting system that holds things to ransom until their alloted time.

.....my point was that I don't think they would have bothered to make the clip if they weren't trying to think up material for the blog.

I know.......it sort of has a feint watermark of 'lame' leaking through but I'm hoping it will improve when everyone gets back in place and wintery chills focus their minds.
