lazybones: What a stupid thing for them to do! Just as I was plowing my way through the archive day-by-day. Argh! Oh well.

In a way, I'm glad it was Humyo's short sightedness that was the cause of the deletion. I didn't think any decent Adam and Joe fan would take down such a bounty of podcast goodness for the heck of it. But of course, now the archive is down, and I (and I assume some others) are in a bit of a pickle.

lazybones, if I can help in rebuilding the archive in anyway, I'll absolutely step up to the challenge. I have every BBC 6 podcast to date, barring these (taken from the reference list):

2009.09.05 - Mr Tickle
2009.09.12 - Banging on the Bumgos
2009.09.19 - Put them in the Leaky Boat
2009.09.26 - Fist 'n Chips
2009.10.03 - Little Shop of Horrors
2009.10.10 - Johnny Flip Flop & Tommy U Turn
2009.10.17 - King of the Ignoramus
2009.10.24 - Baldwin and the Whiffles
2009.10.31 - The End of Boggins
2009.11.07 - Bowie's Podcast Song
2009.11.14 - Dr Snippington
2009.11.21 - A Lorra Lorra Laughs
2009.11.28 - Ol' Man Noises
2009.12.05 - Pushing Through the Noon Barrier

BBC 6Music Podcast - The 12 Podcasts of Christmas (All 12 are missing)

2010.04.03 - Easter Egg - Best Of

I hope that either lazybones or nameinspace have these, I'd love it if they were uploaded, because I'm definitely missing them. Like I say, if you want me to upload my collection to a new Humyo account or whatever, just gimme a shout.

Well, seeing as Humyo are a bunch of idiot holes who won't let anyone make new accounts, would you mind if I started uploading the ones I have to Mediafire? That way, you won't have to upload so much, and I'd like to help rebuild the podcast archive for the site.

I thought I'd ask before I started doing it, because you may want the files in a certain place (I believe you mentioned your own Humyo), so I didn't want to waste anyone's time. :) Tell me what you think.

That would be wonderful. The only problem with Mediafire is that they expire if they're not used regularly which is the problem Blurry is having with the unedited shows. I'm still trying to find a decent storer like Humyo only free (like they used to be before the were bought out).

Original Post (18/11/2011): Well, seeing as Mediafire is a little dodgy with the whole inactivity thing, I've decided that using Multiupload may be the best way to go. Multiupload is basically a great little site that uploads a single file not only to Multiupload itself, but to a number of different file storing sites (Megaupload, Filesonic, Fileserve etc), which means at least 7 or 8 different mirrors of any one file. So, with this in mind, I've uploaded the first eleven podcasts (covering the whole of January 2008 to March 2008) using that. Hope that's okay, and drop me a message if it isn't.

Feel free to add these to the "master list" of links on the main site. I'll keep editing this post every day until I have all of 2008's podcasts uploaded and then I'll make a new post for the 2009 podcasts that I have. After that, it's up to one of you chaps.

Edit 1 (19/11/2011): As you can see, someone is a sad act with not much to do on his Saturday but reupload podcasts. By the end of the day, I should have the entire 2008 set up and running.

Edit 2 (19/11/2011, but a bit later): Aaaaand all done. Uploading my three quarters of 2009 will be a little slower, as the files get a little bigger as longer podcast edits start happening, but I should have everything I have up by the end of next week.

Edit 3 (06/02/2014 by hobbsy: I've removed all these links as I think multiupload.com is now dead (and redirecting to possible malware?)

Wonderful work. Thanks so much!

I just realised I put all the Coke pods in a 4shared account which is like Humyo & the interface is like an old Windows filing hierarchy  I don't think visitors can see the folders, they can only use links supplied to them but I'd be interested to know if other account holders can see my folders. It gives 15GB of free storage.

I clicked the link, and it says "The file link that you requested is not valid.".

Just chiming in to say that I have the same message, and that it isn't a problem on swaddon's end.

As you may have already read above, I intend on having the entire 2008 set of podcasts up by the end of today (CST).

Hi About Last Friday, thanks for doing this

I just grabbed one of the files to test (chose the direct download from multiupload) and it was very speedy to download a 47mb file
