Actually you'd probably get a much nicer screen grab from that youtube video anyway. The one I linked there was just from a BBC4 recording (The ad was on after Dirk Gently last night), so it's only 576p anyway. But I see the YT video is available in 1080p. I should have just snapped that, but I didn't think of it at the time.

The geek in me is pleased I grabbed the other while it was there because it has a spelling mistake with Daddy Fat Sacks' name....now I have both versions #idiothole.

Still no news as such but for the doubters in the house, there is certainly an intention to return.

In his latest blog post, Adam gives us big news on the 6 Music show:

The news is he doesn't know if the show will ever be back, but the door to the Big British Castle remains open for him and Joe.

I'm sure everyone saw this today on Adam's Twitter feed.

Talking to 6 Music about maybe doing some more radio bits later this year but sadly without Joe. Possible alternative co host... 'a woman?'

I don't like the sound of that. I was hoping for an Adam and Joe Christmas show.

I'd hoped for the same, Swaddon.

It's interesting that because Adam used a question mark to imply the intonation of 'a woman?' a lot of people on the Twitter are taking it as an enquiry for suggestions but I read it as him saying that James is thinking about pairing him up with a particular woman he has in mind. Language, splanguage.

I'm really happy that Adam will have the opportunity to be back on the radio as I think he really loves it. I'm sure he'll miss Joe and has done some soul searching before agreeing to do something without the ponce. I'm also delighted that Joe is so fully immersed in film making that he can't currently find the time to do anything but I think we'd all agree that it won't be the same.

Adam is such an affable chap that anyone he pairs with will bounce off him and make a lovely show but there are a lot of questions about the shape a new show will take. I'd imagine he won't try to maintain any of the A&J strands but as BUG TV has already proved, he can generate new ones at the drop of a hat....or jingle-jongle.
