We have confirmation that Adam will bring his BUG Special to the Leicester Comedy Festival again next year. He will present two shows on 15th February 2012 and tickets are available here.

Adam’s BFI BUG shows are around that time too. Tickets will be on sale in January for one show on February 9th & two shows on 16th February 2012.

If you’re Down Under, you can catch Adam at the Sydney Festival on 26th to 29th January 2012. Tickets are selling fast but you’re still in with a chance.

Attack the Block has received nominations from The London Critics’ Circle in the categories of Breakthrough British Film Maker and Young British Performer of the Year. The presentations will take place in London on 19th January 2012.

John Boyega (Moses from Attack the Block) has also been nominated in the Black Reel Awards and Attack the Block was named Best First Feature by The Toronto Film Critics Association.

The New York Film Critics Online also declared Joe Cornish Best Debut Director.

After Steven Moffat was called away to take over the helm at Doctor Who, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish took over writing duties for the screenplay and all three names have equal (and unusually prominent) weighting on the publicity material.

He will also introduce “Anyone Can Play Guitar” at the Sonic Cinema event in London (BFI) on 4th November, 2011 with some special guests.

On 25th November, Adam will host another onedotzero BUG Special at the BFI.

Tickets to all BFI November events to on sales to members at 11am on 4th October and non-members on 11th October, 2011.

Empire presents BIG SCREEN, the UK’s live movie event

Fans of Attack the Block, Joe Cornish’s directorial debut can enjoy a special celebratory screening of the film followed by a live Q&A with Joe Cornish and cast members at Empire’s BIG SCREEN event at 4:15pm on Saturday 13th August at the O2 in London.

Empire presents BIG SCREEN is a fantastic new live movie event at The O2 in London which is on for 3 days from the 12-14th August. This must-see new film event will allow visitors to get up close and personal with the hugely exciting movie world, giving behind-the-scenes access to a diverse range of movies, directors and A-list stars.

The Attack the Block celebration showcase and Q&A with Joe Cornish is only one of the 250 events happening at The O2 over the weekend but will be unmissable for any fan! Fans can purchase tickets for this one off special event for as little as £10 (plus £2 booking fee), for the Attack the Block session.

This event is currently sold out but we have been allocated three pairs of tickets to give away to our forum members.
